Meet Janet Song
A grounded, compassionate guide for your yoga journey.
Janet Song is the founder of Lumi Yoga and a certified yoga teacher, Thai yoga massage practitioner, and lifelong student of mindful living. With over a decade of experience in yoga, movement, and holistic wellness, Janet creates a space where every body — and every story — is welcomed with care.
Her approach to private yoga is deeply personal and intuitive. Janet takes time to understand your goals, challenges, and energy, guiding you through practices that support your physical wellbeing and emotional balance. Whether you are new to yoga, recovering from injury, living with chronic conditions, or simply seeking a more mindful way to move, Janet offers an environment of safety, compassion, and respect.
Before founding Lumi Yoga, Janet worked as a lawyer in a high-stress corporate environment, where she experienced firsthand the toll that burnout and disconnection can take on body and mind. Her own healing through yoga, meditation, and bodywork inspired her to share these tools with others seeking balance and renewal.
Today, she brings together both her grounded professionalism and her intuitive, heart-led teaching style — offering private yoga as a pathway to peace, strength, and self-trust.
